At MYSTI’s California, we know that many families in Alameda County and Contra Costa County are not just looking for one service. They may need housing help, food support, transportation, mental health resources, or guidance on where to start.
That is why 2-1-1 matters.
Jazmyn Brown, CEO of Eden I&R, leads an organization that helps connect Alameda County residents to critical community resources.

Eden I&R describes 2-1-1 Alameda County as a free, confidential, multilingual service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
On a recent episode of The Giovanne Show, we highlighted Jazmyn Brown’s leadership and the importance of resource navigation for people facing real-life challenges.
At MYSTI’s California, that conversation matters because we understand how difficult it can be for individuals and families to navigate complex systems during stressful times.
In Alameda County, 2-1-1 serves as a key entry point for housing and human services. In Contra Costa County, public county resources also direct residents to 211 for urgent support, including homelessness-related services and crisis help.
For us, this is bigger than a phone number. It is about access, dignity, and making sure people know they are not alone when they need help.
At MYSTI’s California, we are proud to spotlight leaders like Jazmyn Brown through The Giovanne Show and to keep raising awareness about the systems, services, and community support that matter most across Alameda County and Contra Costa County.
Follow The Giovanne Show and stay connected with MYSTI’s California for more conversations about leadership, community resources, and support for families across California.
